Other Steps Wildwood Is Taking to Ensure Employees & Guests Are Safe

During the coronavirus pandemic, our objective is to create a clean campus where guests can feel safe upon entering. We are taking steps to keep our staff and facilities clean from virus contamination and practice appropriate social distancing while on campus in accordance with State guidelines.

Wildwood staff and guests are required to wear masks when inside the Lobby, the Holston Café, The Lakeside Restaurant and
the Cordell Lakeside Event Room except while consuming food and beverages. If you do not have a face covering, please request a
complimentary mask at the Holston reception desk. Please also respect social distancing while at Wildwood. We are taking extraordinary measures to clean and disinfect surfaces frequently. Please help yourself to hand sanitizer and wash your hands often.

In the Lakeside Restaurant and Holston Cafe:

  • Hand sanitizer is available to guests upon entry
  • All key restaurant & cafe’ staff are “Covid Serve Safe” certified
  • Lakeside Restaurant & Holston Café menus are disposable
  • Dining table placement will observe airflow and social distancing best practices guidelines, including initially 50% occupancy in the Lakeside Restaurant and tables no larger than tweleve persons
  • Medical grade/commercial sanitizing agents used frequently on all hard surfaces in public areas, including tables and chairs following each guest use, door handles, as well as food preparation service counters
  • Room Service for overnight guests available

Throughout our 33 overnight accommodations:

  • Laundry sanitizing agents and ultimate care bleach used for laundering of sheets, bedding, and towels
  • Ionization system that disinfects any pathogen in washing machines
  • A commercial sanitizing agent will be used on all hard surfaces
  • Arriving guests will be asked if anyone in their party or their home has a fever or other symptoms and, if yes, will be asked not to be seated in the Cafe or Restaurant

Other steps being taken:

  • Daily regional area COVID19 stats briefing will be posted in a location available to staff and guests
  • Public restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized twice per day
  • A digital forehead thermometer will be used to monitor body temperature on all employees before every shift and any staff with a fever will be sent home
  • Wildwood will pay a stipend for employees with positive Covid19 test results until they are safely able to return to work
  • Protective equipment (gloves and masks) will be available for the housekeeping staff
  • Any COVID19 related incidents at Wildwood will be documented
