About Us

History & Story

Set among the pristine natural beauty of the Cumberland River, Wildwood Resort and Marina is located in the historic town of Granville.   This once bustling river stop community was well known back in the 1800s as it helped play a role in trade and Nashville’s growth.   The interstates of today changed history but over the last couple of decades, an exciting new chapter for Granville has begun.

Many of its historic buildings have been restored and now are new storefronts for local businesses.   There is a museum dedicated to our river history and the original T.B. Sutton General Store has been revived and is home to a weekly live worldwide music radio show and restaurant.   A couple of quaint B&B’s have arrived, an amazing equestrian trail system has been developed along the lake too and so much more.  You can almost always find a great festival or a special event happening in our little river town.   We have no doubt that somehow you’ll feel like you’ve magically stepped back in time, discovered a new way to slow down, and found your way back to Mayberry.

John and Natasha Deane (and June too)

In January 2018, long-time lovers of this area, and Granville residents, John and Natasha Deane purchased the old Granville Marina. They immediately began renovations and made improvements that brought Wildwood to life. They strive to share their love for hospitality with their community and every guest that comes to Wildwood.

About Our

Accommodations & Activities

Our guests can select from several unique lodging styles when visiting Wildwood. From our floating harbor cottage and lakeside cabins to a two-story well-appointed Inn and a retro Airstream village you can visit many times and each stay will be new and different.

There is always something fun to do at Wildwood. If you come by boat or bring yours with you, you can tie it off on our docks or keep it overnight in one of the covered slips. We offer pontoon boats, kayak and paddle board rentals.  There are cozy spaces throughout the property with fire rings that we light nightly. We feature two waterfront restaurants on the grounds of Wildwood. Each weekend you’ll hear live music and once a month through the summer we host singer-songwriter concerts that feature some of Nashville’s most acclaimed writers.

Come for the tranquility.  Stay for the music.  Watch an unbelievable sunset.  Play in the water.  Have a meal that is fresh and authentic.  Let us spoil you.
