History & Story

Set among the pristine natural beauty of the Cumberland River, Wildwood Resort and Marina is located in the historic town of Granville.   This once bustling river stop community was well known back in the 1800s as it helped play a role in trade and Nashville’s growth.  The interstates of today changed history but over the last couple of decades, an exciting new chapter for Granville has begun.

Many of its historic buildings have been restored and now are new storefronts for local businesses. The original T.B. Sutton General Store has been revived and is home to a world-renowned live music radio show and restaurant.  Several quaint B&B’s have arrived, an amazing equestrian trail system has been developed along the lake too and so much more. You can almost always find a great festival or a special event happening in our little river town. We have no doubt that somehow you’ll feel like you’ve magically stepped back in time, discovered a new way to slow down, and found your way back to Mayberry.

In January 2018, long-time lovers of this area, and Granville residents, John and Natasha Deane purchased the old Granville Marina. They immediately began renovations and made improvements that brought Wildwood to life. They strive to share their love for hospitality with their community and every guest that comes to Wildwood.
