The Saltbox Lake Home is a “tiny” modular chalet possessing all the latest in modern home design, both inside and out. From the commanding wooden French doors opening to a deck view of the lake; the white Summit Appliance range and refrigerator; and tall, 9’5″ ceilings in the bedroom, this waterside Lake Home provides roomy living space and all the possible amenities. On the outside, the premium standing seam metal roof, stylish vertical ship-lap wood siding with horizontal board and batten are combined to provide a high-quality, stylish, exterior.
This Cumberland River Lake Home is 460 square feet and has two porches and transom windows. It sleeps up to four (queen bed & queen sofa bed). The master bedroom opens up to the private outdoor covered porch with seating for two. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower, vanity cabinet, and commode. The cozy dining room can comfortably seat up to four and the fully equipped kitchen comes with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. All the cooking/eating utensils, dishware, and glassware are included.
The spacious living room is well-appointed and includes a queen sofa-bed and lounge chairs. Step outside onto the wrap-around deck with comfortable seating and soak in the tranquility and quiet, while overlooking Cordell Hull Lake. The Saltbox Lake Home is conveniently located in the area of Wildwood known as The Woods and only a short stroll to all up of Wildwood’s activities, amenities, kayak, and paddleboard rentals and waterfront restaurant.

Many come to Wildwood and never leave during their stay, but there is so much to see and do here in the Upper Cumberland. In addition to our resort amenities, there are also many local attractions to help make your getaway to Wildwood unforgettable. Our historic town of Granville will make you feel like you’ve stepped onto the set of Mayberry. A visit to Sutton General Store has to be on your list. A drive along the scenic country roads that meander around the lake and creeks can take you to many great wineries and breweries. There are two spectacular waterfalls in the area and if you love horses, there is a nearby farm that offers horseback excursions. The world-renowned Caney Fork River, which is famed for fly fishing, is right down the road too.

All reservations will be 100% refundable if cancelled at least 7 days prior to the arrival date. Within 7 days of the arrival date, a 50% deposit is not refundable. There is a three night lodging minimum for weekends, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. If a cabin remains available on the Wednesday before the weekend, two or one night reservations may be made by calling the concierge at 931-653-4360.
