Events Server

Job Description:

A successful candidate for the Events Team will have good communication skills and organizational skills, an ability to multitask under pressure, be willing to learn all aspects of the position and have a servant’s heart. You must also be trustworthy, punctual, and willing to help out wherever needed. You must be willing to work any day of the week.

As a member of the Event’s Team  at Wildwood Resort and Marina, you would be responsible for:

• Responsible for setting up the Event room for guests’ needs. This includes moving tables, adding flip charts, and being sure AV equipment is operational.
• Serving meals and refreshments throughout the guests’ stay
• Cleaning up dishes and room after meals
• Setting up Bose sound equipment

This is a part-time position. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Counter Server – Holston Cafe’

Concierge / Guest Services

Job Description:
The Concierge position is the first line of contact for our guests. Successful candidates must have an excellent phone presence and good communication skills. You will be responsible for answering the phone, making reservations, providing guests with information on all Wildwood has to offer and local attractions. The ability to multitask and work under busy, stressful conditions is a must. You will also be responsible for greeting guests upon arrival and showing them to their rooms. This is a seasonal, part-time position, which can turn into a seasonal full-time position.

Dock Hand

Job Description:

Wildwood Resort and Marina rents tritoon motorboats as well as kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards to our guests and the general public, and maintains a 130-slip 10-acre marina. Successful dock hand candidates will be responsible for keeping our fleet of six tri-toon rental boats clean and fueled, providing guests with excellent customer service upon arrival, facilitating registration and pre-scribed documentation as well as a brief but thorough orientation and return procedure. In addition, dock hands maintain the appearance of our docks, pick up and dispose of trash and clean private boats upon request. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to pump gas and move boats. A TN Boater’s License would be preferred but not necessary (You will be asked to complete this course if you don’t have it). Candidates will be required to perform pump-out services for our houseboats. You must be detailed oriented, willing to work outside in summer heat conditions and be flexible with completing tasks. This is a seasonal, part-time position.
