Wildwood Singer/Songwriter Contest

The Winner will showcase at the November 5th Songwriter’s Festival – A Day and Evening featuring some of Tennessee’s Most Acclaimed Hit Singer/Songwriters

About the contest

Music has always been at the center of Wildwood.  The resort was actually named after the song Wildwood Flower performed and made famous by the Carter Family. Every Friday and Saturday night and on select Sundays we feature rising talent from the Upper Cumberland and once a month during the summer, we host a listening room type concert series called Newbird on the Water that is like being at the Bluebird in Nashville, but on the beautiful shores of Cordell Hull lake.

Do you have a song that the world needs to hear? Submit a recording of your song along with a lyric sheet by 12:00 PM October 10th and a panel of songwriting professionals will select a winner on October 24th.

The winner of the contest receives:
Opening spot for one of headlining songwriters during the November 5th songwriters festival
One-on-one songwriting session with Nashville hit songwriter Jeff Cohen
2 guest tickets to the festival
1 meal ticket during the festival
