Indulge in an exclusive Rodney Strong Wine Weekend at the picturesque Wildwood Resort and Marina, where splendor meets lakeside tranquility. Join us for an exquisite experience curated for wine aficionados and culinary enthusiasts alike.

Prepare your palate for an unforgettable journey starting with a blending workshop orchestrated by Colleen Brennan, Vice President of Rodney Strong Vinyards. She’ll lead the intimate group of wine lovers through the process of making your very own Red Wine blend that will be served later during a three-course chef-curated dinner.

  • Saturday night lodging in the Lakeside Inn or Lodge  
  • Welcome bottle of Monopole Blue Top Brut Champagne and a charcuterie board awaiting in your room
  • Wine blending workshop with Rodney Strong red wine grape varietals – 3/23 5:00 p.m.
  • Three-Course Chef Curated Dinner with live jazz piano – 3/23 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday brunch with unlimited mimosas – 3/24 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Learn the art of blending, what a Bordeaux-style red wine is, how Rodney Strong Vineyards assembles its Symmetry, and how the final blend is an improvement over the sum of its parts. Discover the Artisan concept, including technique and style. By tasting each of the five varietals separately, we will open a window of understanding as to what the winemaking team sees and expects from each component, and then demonstrate through practice how the addition or omission of any one of the components relative to others can dramatically influence the final blend.
