Join us for our 3rd annual riverbank clean up followed by a hot lunch provided by Wildwood.
Every year our community has come together with our partnership with Cumberland River Compact to make Granville and the Cumberland river a better place by picking up over 200+ bags of trash from along the riverbank. We would love for you to join us once again as we clean up the Cumberland River, fellowship with our neighbors and enjoy a hot lunch afterward!
This year we are excited that our clean up will also take place on the same day as Tennessee Tree Day - the largest, single-day tree-planting event in America where Tennesseans will plant over 100,000 native species of trees in all 95 counties of our state!
Dear Wildwood Friends and Neighbors,
In the interest of public safety, we ask that you consider the following regarding our Adopt-a-Stream cleanup on Saturday, March 21st.
Note, this is an outdoor event. After a brief sign-in and orientation, we will split up into groups of 5-10 to cover different areas of the shore for the clean-up. We will plan to stagger our gathering for lunch and tours according to groupings. Hand sanitizer will be provided however, due to construction issues, running water and bathrooms are not available on site.
Please consider the following if you plan to participate:
● Be considerate of others: If you or anyone you live with have cold or flu symptoms, please refrain from participating in the clean-up.
● Take care of yourself and your loved ones: if you are immunocompromised or at high personal risk of infection, or if you live with anyone who is immunocompromised or at high risk of infection, please refrain from participating.
● Out of an abundance of caution, we plan to make the following accommodations for our guests:
o Please use hand sanitizer (provided) before joining the lunch.
o Please use tongs or other utensils to place food on your own individual plate and avoid picking up food from the common plate instead of hands;
o As a substitute for shaking hands, use eye contact, your beautiful smile or an elbow bump to greet others.
Your well-being is our top consideration at this time. If you have any questions or concerns about the above guidelines, please feel free to reach out: email@example.com
